I'm now working on the Arcade Mode of the game, with a wider variety of curated waves.
I created a boss ship (using a model from Turbosquid) which you can not defeat with your normal laser.
You need to use the new polarity mechanic I introduced last week in order to power up your nuke and kill it with that.
I'm intending that the boss will appear multiple times, each time you will do more damage to it before finally destroying it. At the moment I just have it in one wave to test.
Boss Wave Test
The boss at the moment cycles through 2 modes fire, where you need to absorb bullets of your ship colour to power your ship up to defeat the boss. You can see from the video me switching the polarity (colour) of the ship to absorb the right bullets.
I'm going to introduce more fire patterns like the rotation, with the idea lead the player through collecting bullets in a smooth motion.
